Meet Erin Rushing, founder of OZTB Consulting.


Erin's work has transformed Northwest Arkansas into a premier destination for cyclists and pedestrians, enhancing the region's outdoor infrastructure and promoting a healthier, more active lifestyle in the region currently described as the mountain bike capital of the world.


Erin Rushing is a distinguished Landscape Architect, trail development advocate and owner of OZTB Consulting in Bentonville, Arkansas. With a degree in Landscape Architecture from the Fay Jones School of Architecture from the University of Arkansas, Erin began his professional career in Kansas City, Missouri, before relocating to Bentonville in 2000 to pursue his passion for developing trails and trail systems.


His significant contributions to Northwest Arkansas' trails began with CEI Engineering Associates and later with Alta Planning + Design, where he managed the Northwest Arkansas office. However, his most notable role was the CEO of the NWA Trailblazers, a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing mountain bike trails and greenways across the region. Under his leadership, the Trailblazers developed over 350 miles of trails, including Slaughter Pen, Coler, Back 40 and Little Sugar, to name a few.


In addition to his professional achievements, Erin is committed to community engagement and environmental stewardship. His efforts have earned him recognition and respect within the field of landscape architecture and trail development.
